Latin Terms and Phrases
Fifty-three Latin terms and phrases in two alphabetical lists. The first list consists of those terms and abbreviations, such as QED (Quot Erat Demonstrandum) and exempli gratia, that are common in mathematics. The second is a more general list of terms, such as alma mater and quod videlicet, that are used in more general kinds of discourse. Each list includes proper spellings, definitions, and common pronunciations.
