Search tips:
- When you wish to browse by author or topic, do not click the SEARCH button; merely selecting an author name or topic will call the new page containing the requested quotes. (You must use the search button when you wish to search on a phrase.)
- When browsing by authors or topics, use the back/forth buttons to proceed to previous or succeeding authors or topics.
- When browsing by topics or searching on phrases, click on an authors name to initiate a browse by author request and display all of her/his quotes.
- When searching by phrase, use shorter, simpler phrases in the search box to return a greater number of records.
- When searching by phrase, the page will only return the first 30 quotes matching the search criteria. Use a longer search phrase to refine your search.
- If you wish to view all the quotes in the database, browsing by author is the most efficient approach.
